Indian stock markets ended on a high note today, cheering investors with strong gains across key sectors. The Sensex closed at 79,408.50, up 855.30 points or 1.09%, while the Nifty ended the day at 24,125.55, rising 273.90 points or 1.15%. This marks a major comeback as the Nifty crossed the 24,000 mark for the first time since January 6, 2025.

Driving this rally were upbeat earnings from major banks, fresh foreign fund inflows, and a strong global sentiment.
