The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty closed marginally up as the Reserve Bank of India left the door open for more monetary easing after keeping rates on hold as widely expected, while sentiment was also supported by strong gains in Asian markets. Sensex gained 23.74 points to close at 26,169.41, while Nifty closed 19.65 points up to end at 7,954.90.

Ashok Leyland:  Shares of Ashok Leyland closed 1.22 per cent down at Rs 93.35 after it reported 16 per cent rise in its total sales figures in November. The company sold 8971 units in November 2015 against 7732 units in the same month last year.

Jubilant Life Sciences: Shares soared nearly 10 per cent to touch its 52-week high level after the company received final approval from the US health regulator for its generic version of anti-depressant Paxil tablets. Later, the share price of the company closed 8.67 per cent up at Rs 447.95.

Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL): The company’s share price gained as much as 6.83 per cent (12.57 pm) on Tuesday after the company informed stock exchanges that it has secured an export order from Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). Later, the scrip settled  3.34 per cent up at Rs 389.80.

Bharti Airtel: Share price of the telecom major closed 3.53 per cent down at Rs 322.70 after Standard & Poor’s kept its rating unchanged post the company’s plan to spend Rs 60,000 crore over the next three years even as it anticipates that the investment will slow down the improvement in Bharti’s financial ratios.

Dena Bank: Shares price of public sector bank soared as much as 13.17 per cent after it informed stock exchanges that a meeting of the Board of Directors will be held on December 3 to consider raising AT1 and Tier 2 capital upto an amount of Rs 1,500 crore and Rs 1,000 crore, respectively, in one or more tranche. The bank will also consider to raise equity capital of the bank by diluting the government of India’s (GOI) holding upto 52 per cent on obtaining necessary approval. Later, the share price of the company closed 7.83 per cent up at Rs 45.45.

Tree House: Company’s share price hit upper circuit on Tuesday after it updated BSE that it has successfully received all amounts related to preschools and franchise operations that were outstanding as on 30 September 2015.

Yes Bank: Shares of the private lender closed 0.85 per cent down at Rs 760.00 after it signed loan agreements totalling $265 million wiyh Opic and Wells Fargo to support small business growth in India.

Aurobindo Pharma: Shares of the drug maker ended 1.80 per cent up at Rs 825.25 after it received final approval from USFDA to manufacture and market generic version of Risedronate Sodium tablets, used in the treatment of Osteoporosis, in the American market.

Eicher Motors: The comapny shares ended 2.94 per cent down at Rs 16232.25 after it said that it sold 40,769 units of bike in November, reporting a 48 per cent jump in total motorcycles sales.

Oil marketing companies: The PSU oil marketing companies too remained buzzing, after the petrol and diesel prices were reduced in the fortnightly review. ATF price was cut by a marginal 1.2 per cent, the third straight monthly reduction since October. Simultaneously, oil firms have also raised the prices of non-subsidised LPG, by Rs 61.50 per 14.2-kg bottle. BPCL and IOC gained around 2.81 per cent and 2.90 per cent respectively, while HPCL gained 0.70 per cent.
