The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has approved a ₹334.89-crore elevated corridor project at Visakhapatnam Port in Andhra Pradesh. The 3.584-km flyover will bypass nine railway level crossings, reducing delays for cargo vehicles and improving internal cargo movement. The project is expected to be completed in 30 months and will result in more efficient cargo evacuation.
