PM Narendra Modi’s birthday cake might break Guinness World Record today

A team of over 20 chefs have worked together to bake the world's tallest pyramid cake with chocoberry flavour.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to blow the candles on his cake today. PM Modi turns 66 today and while this is grand occasion to celebrate, what has emerged even bigger is his birthday cake. A Surat-based bakery, Atul Bakery has reportedly created the world’s tallest pyramid cake for this occasion. A team of over 20 chefs have worked together to bake the world’s tallest pyramid cake with chocoberry flavour.

Not just this, the Bakery aims to make the cake tall enough so that it enters the Guinness book of records. And for this, it has collaborated with an NGO called Shakti Foundation. The cake is reportedly being made to honour his efforts for women empowerment with campaigns such as Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao.

“Ours will be above 8 feet and it may go to up to 12 feet too weighing 2 tonne to 2.5 tonne. We have already taken pre-approval and guidelines of the same from Guinness Team,” the report quoted Sonal Rochani, co-founder of Shakti Foundation as saying. The giant cake will by mentally challenged and underprivileged girls in presence of more than 5,00 other women at the Maliba Party plot at Vesu, Surat.

According to The Times of India, the record for the tallest birthday cakes is presently held by the MTR Rzeszow International Fair in Rzeszow, Poland. And the cake was was nearly six feet tall, and weighed 720.8 kg.
