Nissan India offers two SUVs the Magnite and X-Trail. The starting price of the Nissan lineup is from Rs 6.12 lakh to Rs 11.88 lakh. The Japanese manufacturer's flagship model is the X-Trail is Rs 49.92 lakh.

Nissan began its operations in India in 2005 and its manufacturing plant is in Chennai. Nissan’s first vehicle for the domestic market was the X-Trail, which was followed by the Micra, Sunny, Terrano, Kicks and the GT-R. Apart from the X-Trail and the GT-R, all the other vehicles were manufactured in India.

Initially, Nissan also introduced the affordable brand — Datsun, but, sadly, due to low demand, the company pulled out of the Indian market.
