The Toyota Camry Hybrid was introduced in the premium sedan segment for the environment friendly consumers. The petrol hybrid has a class leading certified mileage of 19.16 km/l. Incidentally, the Camry Hybrid is also the segment leader in terms of sales with a 70 percent share in its segment. While there is no diesel version, one can buy the Camry without the hybrid technology too. Engine capacity in both the variants is same for the 2AR FXE petrol engine that generates more power in the non hybrid variant, however the hybrid has better combined power and torque figures. Keeping a chauffeur driven buyer, there is a three zone air conditioning unit that can set separate temperature for the driver, co driver and the rear occupants.

    The Toyota Camry Hybrid is a measures 4,850 mm in length, 1,825 mm in width and 1,480 mm in height. The front houses an Auto High Intensity Discharge (HID) headlamp in the petrol and an LED unit in the Hyrbid variants. Power and torque generated for the petrol engine is 175hp at 6,000 rpm and 233Nm at 4,100 rpm respectively. The same engine has been tuned to produce 158hp at 5,700 rpm and 213Nm at 4,500 rpm which combined with the motor produces a total of 202 hp power. Both combinations offer linear power delivery and are smooth and silent.
