Power and torque generated by the petrol powered MPV is 163.7hp at 5,200 rpm and 245Nm at 4,000 rpm, while the smaller diesel unit produces 148hp at 3,400 rpm and 343Nm between 1,400 rpm and 2,800 rpm.The larger unit churns out 171.6hp at 3,400 rpm and an impressive 360Nm from as low as 1,200 rpm right up to 3,400 rpm. Toyota Innova Crysta

The Toyota Innova Crysta has a choice of 6-speed manual and automatic gearbox but only the 2.8 litre engine is offered with the automatic gearbox. The 6-speed manual offers seamless gearshifts but the gear lever throw is quite long. The automatic unit takes some time to shift and the engine spins at higher speeds during the shift, increasing the noise intrusion in the cabin. The manual transmission results in a quieter cabin due to the absence of the above-mentioned problem.

  • Toyota Innova Crysta Braking and Safety

The Toyota Innova Crysta comes with seven airbags namely dual front, driver knee, front side and curtain airbags, ABS, vehicle stability management and hill assist control for the upper variants.
