The Renault Kwid is an entry level hatchback offered by the French carmaker. The car comes in four petrol variants, STD, RXE, RXL and RXZ. The Renault Kwid comes with a 799 cc petrol engine and a 999 cc petrol engine, the latter available only in the higher variants. The smaller capacity engine is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission while the larger capacity motor is also available with an AMT or Automated Manual Transmission. However, customers looking for an automatic transmission in this segment can opt for an AMT gearbox which is available only in the 999 cc petrol engine in addition to the 5 speed manual transmission.
