Build Your Dreams (BYD) Sealion 7 is a coupe electric crossover. It is the fourth BYD model to be launched in India after eMax 7, Atto 3, and Seal. It comes to India as a fully-imported CBU model at a starting price of Rs 48.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the Sealion 7 are currently underway while deliveries are expected to commence from January 2025 onwards.
BYD is offering the Sealion 7 in two variants: Premium and Performance, priced at Rs 48.90 lakh and Rs 54.90 lakh (both ex-showroom), respectively.

BYD Sealion 7 comes with a 82.56 kWh battery pack that claims a single-charge range of 567 km on the Premium trim and 542 km in the Performance trim. The Premium variant gets a single-motor setup based on the rear axle that produces 309 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. According to BYD, this variant does 0 – 100 kmph in 6.7 seconds.
The Performance trim gets a dual-motor, all-wheel drive setup that pumps out 523 bhp and 690 Nm of torque. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive variant goes from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.5 seconds and can clock a top speed of 215 kmph.

BYD offers four colour options with the Sealion 7 including Atlantis Gray, Cosmo Black, Aurora White, and Shark Gray.
Like all BYD electric vehicles, the Sealion 7 comes loaded with advanced features, including a signature 15.6-inch rotating infotainment display, luxurious Nappa leather seats, and 128-color ambient lighting. It also boasts a panoramic glass roof with an electric sunshade, a heads-up display, and power-adjustable front seats—offering six-way adjustment for the passenger and four-way lumbar support for the driver.
Enhancing the in-cabin experience, the Sealion 7 includes a premium 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system, ventilated and heated seats for personalized comfort, a 50W wireless phone charger, and a Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) function for added convenience.
In terms of safety, the BYD Sealion 7 gets 11 airbags as standard, Driver Fatigue Monitoring, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake with auto hold function and a Level 2 ADAS suite.
