The new Kia Carnival is the fourth generation vehicle, which was earlier discontinued in 2023 due to stringent BS6 Phase 2 emission norms. It is a three-row MPV that will be available in multiple seat formations, including Captain seats in the second row. The Carnival is powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine and is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The 2-wheel-drive vehicle is available in two variants — Limousine and Limousine Plus.
Kia Carnival is available in with only one engine — the 2.2-litre diesel. The powertrain produces 190 bhp and 441 Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic and has four driving modes — Eco, Normal, Sport and Smart. It also comes with paddle shifts. In the global market, the Carnival is available with two more engines — a 3.5-litre petrol and a 1.6-litre hybrid petrol.

Kia Carnival comes with a curved dual 12.3-inch infotainment system with navigation and a digital instrument console with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and an 11-inch head-up display. It also comes with a 12-speaker Bose music system, connected tech —Kia Connect, 12-way power driver’s seat with 4-way lumbar support and an 8-way powered front passenger seat, wide dual sunroof, powered tailgate and LED lights including front and rear fog lamps. It further gets a 3 zone fully automatic climate control, electrically sliding doors, reclining and sliding 2nd row Captain seats, 3rd row with 60:40 seats, 2nd row air condition vents with controls and 3rd row air condition vents, 2 USB ports for each row and front and second row ventilated seats.
Kia Carnival comes standard with safety features like 8 air bags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control with Hill Assist Control, all wheels with disc brakes, Emergency Stop Signal and front and rear parking sensors. It is also equipped with Level 2 ADAS with 23 functions including Forward Collision Assistance for cars, pedestrian, cyclist, direct and turning oncoming alert, cruise control with stop and go, lane keep assist, lane follow assist, lane departure warning, parking collision warning and avoidance assist and much more.
Kia will introduce the Carnival in two colours. The three-row MPV is available in Fusion Black and Glacier White Pearl.
