Rs.1,264 Cr Railway project approved in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh to boost capacity
The Cabinet has approved a railway expansion project worth Rs.1,264 crore on the Ballari-Guntakal route to enhance rail travel and freight movement between Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The project includes adding third and fourth railway lines, benefiting industries, passengers, and villages. It is set to be completed by 2028-29 and is a part of the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan.
