The Centre has issued a notification that states that a 3-member panel will probe the violence in Manipur. According to the govt, the panel will consist of ex-chief justice of the Gauhati High Court Ajai Lamba, who will head the probe team. No relief for Imran Khan
Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said the chances were that former prime minister Imran Khan could be tried in a military court for his alleged involvement in the May 9 incidents in which military and state installations were attacked by his party workers, according to a media report on Sunday. Indigo flight diverted
An Indigo flight that had Dibrugarh as its original destination was diverted to Guwahati after it developed technical snag, new agency ANI reports. Among the 150 passengers on board, the flight also had Union Minister Rameshwar Teli and two BJP lawmakers. The minister said that the flight was diverted after 20 minutes of takeoff. He also said that everyone is safe.
