India’s coal inventories have hit record levels, reaching 210 MT, enough to meet 88 days of consumption. This is due to robust production and supply growth, outpacing consumption. The coal stock at mines and power plants has reached 156.58 MT, with an additional 54.05 MT at thermal power plants.
