Stocks in Focus: GIFT Nifty was trading 55 points or 0.10% lower at 23,668.50 indicating a negative start for domestic indices NSE Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex on Friday. Previously, on Thursday, indices ended in the red. The BSE Sensex fell 213.12 points or 0.27% to close at 78,058.16, while the NSE Nifty 50 declined 70.15 points or 0.3% to settle at 23,626.15.

ITC
ITC is making a move in the frozen food segment with a phased acquisition of Prasuma, a well-known name in the ready to cook category. The deal will be completed in stages, with 43.8% acquired upfront and full ownership expected by June 2028.
Meanwhile, ITC announced its Q3FY25 results on February 6, reporting revenue up 8.45% YoY to Rs 18,290.24 crore. It standalone net profit rose 1.18% YoY to Rs 5,638.25 crore. In addition to it, ITC declared an interim dividend of Rs 6.50 per share, with the record date set for February 12. The payout will be made between March 6 and March 8, 2025.
Zomato
Food delivery giant Zomato has announced a major rebranding move, changing its name to Eternal Ltd. The company’s board approved the decision on February 6, 2025, pending shareholder and regulatory approvals.
Bharti Airtel
Telecom giant Bharti Airtel posted a 121% YoY jump in adjusted net profit, reaching Rs 5,514 crore. However, its overall net profit stood at Rs 14,781 crore for the quarter ending December 31, 2024.
Aurobindo Pharma
Aurobindo Pharma is set to acquire an 80% stake in Tergene Biotech, making it a direct subsidiary.
Apollo Tyres
Apollo Tyres reported a 32.1% YoY drop in net profit to Rs 337.2 crore, falling short of market expectations. Revenue, however, grew 5% YoY to Rs 6,928 crore.
Ramco Cements
Ramco Cements posted a 6.1% YoY drop in revenue at Rs 1,976.6 crore, slightly below market estimates.

Tata Power has successfully restored its 500 MW Unit 5 at Trombay Thermal Power Station, which was damaged in a September 2024 fire.
