Vodafone India has announced the launch of Vodafone 344 recharge offer for prepaid users. The new Vodafone tariff plan provides 1GB data per day along with unlimited voice calls (local and national) for 28 days. The offer, priced at Rs 344 is valid for all Vodafone prepaid users regardless of them using 4G, 3G or 2G enabled handsets. Vodafone 344 prepaid recharge offer can be availed at Vodafone Stores, Mini stores and multi brand retail outlets across India. Users can recharge via MyVodafone App as well. However, there is a catch. The plan amount varies in different states. While the tariff rate starts at Rs 344, in some of the states the Vodafone offer is priced at Rs 348 or Rs 349 as well.
After the launch of Reliance Jio, the data war in India has become quite intense. Vodafone has been fairly active in rolling out data plans at affordable prices. The telecom player had recently announced a Rs 348 plan for Rajasthan. Meanwhile, in the latest offer, we found that the price was lowest in Haryana. Earlier, the company had launched a First Recharge Coupon (FRC) plan at Rs 244 which gives 70 GB data for customers. The FUP (Fair Usage Policy) limit was 1GB data per day, and it bundles unlimited local and STD calls within Vodafone network. However, unlike Reliance Jio, Vodafone is not offering truly unlimited voice calls.
Meanwhile, have a look at the ‘reasonable use’ policy regarding the Special Tariff Voucher of Rs 344:
1. If you use over 1200 minutes (Local +STD ) within seven consecutive days, you will be charged at 30 paise per minute.
2. If you use over 300 minutes (Local +STD) in a day, you will be charged at 30 paise per minute.
3. Users calling over 300 Unique numbers in any period of seven consecutive days will be charged at 30 paise per minute(Local +STD Mobile calls), for rest of validity of recharge
