The SBI Card MILES series offers three variants – MILES, MILES PRIME, and MILES ELITE variants, offering substantial benefits for frequent travelers.

Empowering cardholders with absolute choice of redemption, the card partners over 20 airline and hotel brands including Air Vistara, Air India, Spicejet, Air France-KLM, Etihad Airways, Air Canada, Thai Airways, Qantas Airways, ITC Hotels, IHG Hotels & Resorts, and Accor among others, according to a statement by SBI Card. SBI Card MILES ELITE variant offers six travel credits per Rs 200 spent on travel.

SBI Card welcome benefit

SBI Card MILES offers as a welcome benefit its customers 1,500 – 5,000 Travel Credits upon reaching spends of Rs 30,000 – 1 lakh in 60 days of enrollment.

Additionally, customers can also avail 5000 – 20,000 bonus Travel Credits on reaching annual spends milestone of INR 5-12 lakh, the statement said. Customers can get annual fee reversal upon reaching the spends milestone of Rs 15 lakh.

Additionally, they offer 1% fuel surcharge waivers and various travel-related perks, such as additional lounge visits and cancellation benefits for up to 6 flights per year with the PRIME variant, it said.

The ability to transfer points to numerous airline and hotel loyalty programs adds flexibility.

SBI Card MILES ELITE offers Priority Pass membership

With airport lounge access being an important part of the overall travel experience, SBI Card MILES ELITE offers Priority Pass membership. Using the card, cardholders will be able to enjoy up to 8 complimentary domestic lounge visits and up to 6 international airport lounge visits in a year.

The card also enables users to earn additional domestic lounge access. Every time a cardholder achieves the cumulative spends of Rs 1 lakh, cardholders will receive 1 gift voucher for lounge access that can be used by either the cardholder or the guest.

All variants include a complimentary Priority Pass Membership for global lounge access. Importantly, SBI Card MILES ELITE cardholders will also enjoy a low foreign transaction mark up of 1.99%.

In terms of insurance coverage, all variants cover up to 6 cancellations per year (each limited to Rs 3,500), Air Accident Cover of up to Rs 1 crore, Lost card liability cover of up to Rs 1 lakh, Loss of check in baggage cover of up to Rs 72,000, Baggage Damage cover of up to Rs 5000. The card will be available on Mastercard and RuPay network.
