FITPASS, India’s fit-tech brand, has added industry experts to its senior leadership roles to enhance its marketing and growth engine capabilities. This move aims to boost market penetration and achieve a threefold increase in growth by 2024-2025, according to the company.
Abhinay Singh has been appointed as the new vice president of growth at FITPASS. Singh has ten years of leadership experience and previously led marketing and growth at Redcliffe Labs and Thyrocare Technologies. The company reports that Singh’s experience in business scaling, growth acceleration, and process optimisation is expected to benefit FITPASS. FITPASS currently holds a 52% market share in the fitness app category. The company states that Singh’s approach to performance marketing will be crucial for expanding the brand’s reach and strengthening its position in the Indian fitness market.
“My goal is to triple the company’s growth by expanding our presence in the D2C segment and increasing our brand’s visibility to further boost market discoverability. With our new core team members, Neeraj Kumar and Shaleen D’souza, I’m confident we can achieve our goals quickly and effectively,” Abhinay Singh said.
Neeraj Kumar has joined as AVP of digital marketing. Kumar has 13 years of experience in digital strategy and marketing and has held roles at Redcliffe Diagnostic and Healthians. According to FITPASS, he has implemented campaigns that increased digital adoption and brand visibility. His expertise in data-driven decision-making, strategic planning, and multi-channel marketing is expected to support FITPASS’ growth goals.
Shaleen D’souza, with 10 years of experience, has joined as AVP of brand and communication. She has worked with branding agencies such as Vector Brand Solutions and Mirum. FITPASS reports that D’souza has managed marketing for brands like TVS Eurogrip, Flipkart Seller Hub, Raymond, Shoppers Stop, and Tata Housing. Her skills in communications and brand development are expected to help improve FITPASS’ internal and external communications and brand growth.
