Out of the premium motorcycle brands in India, Kawasaki has managed to beat its Japanese rivals to be on top in terms of sales. With the introduction of new motorcycles, periodic updates even though they are small, and discounts, have helped the brand. For September, Kawasaki is offering discounts on its Ninja range.
Kawasaki Ninja discounts
Kawasaki is offering discounts on the Ninja range, which include the entry-level Ninja 300, the newly launched Ninja 500, and the tried and tested Ninja 650. The Ninja 300 and 500 get a discount voucher of Rs 10,000, which can be used to shave off the on-road price of the bikes or be used for accessories. The larger Kawasaki Ninja 650 gets a discount voucher for Rs 25,000.
In March earlier this year, Kawasaki introduced a similar offer worth Rs 30,000, and the reintroduction of the discount could be the effect of Triumph launching the new Daytona 660 in India, which squarely targets the Kawasaki Ninja.
The Kawasaki Ninja 650 is powered by a 649cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that makes 67bhp and 64Nm of torque, while the Ninja 500 is powered by a 45bhp 451cc twin-cylinder engine and the entry-level Ninja 300 uses a 39bhp twin-cylinder engine.
