Indian stock markets are likely to open lower following the declines in the major indices of Wall Street and the uncertainty over the third-quarter GDP data due later today. The early indicator of NSE Nifty, SGX Nifty was also trading down 0.67% at 10,491.5 on Singapore Exchange. Today will be a macro data-heavy day as the market participants are keenly awaiting for the Nikkei India manufacturing PMI for February, fiscal deficit in rupees for April-January, India GDP annual FY18 estimates and India GDP YoY for three months ended 31 December.

Indiabulls Housing Finance: Indiabulls Housing Finance said the company will raise Rs 315 crore by issuing masala bonds.
HDFC: HDFC approved and declared the opening of QIP on Tuesday and fixed a floor price at Rs 1,824.63 per equity share.
Punjab National Bank: With the scam amount rising to nearly Rs 12,700 crore, Punjab National Bank on Tuesday appointed its general manager A K Pradhan as the Group Chief Risk Officer. Earlier on Monday in a late-night notice, PNB said that the quantum of fraud can increase by $204 million or Rs 1,323.
Gitanjali Gems: More than two dozen banks have decided to seek a forensic audit to establish if Mehul Choksi-led Gitanjali Gems has indulged in fraud or not. A consortium of 31 lenders led by ICICI Bank, has an over Rs 6,000 crore exposure to the company and appointed TR Chadha & Co to determine if Gitanjali had indulged in any financial fraud, PTI reported citing unidentified sources.
DLF: Real Estate giant DLF announced that it has won the 11.76 acres land parcel in Gurugram through e-auction for nearly Rs 1,500 crore.
Atlas Cycles: Atlas Cycles (Haryana) said it has suspended manufacturing at its Sonepat unit with immediate effect.
The Indian Rupee on Tuesday: The rupee depreciated by 8 paise to end at 64.87 US dollar.
Indian stock markets on Tuesday
Indian stock markets ended lower on Tuesday ahead of the third-quarter GDP with Sensex dipping 99 points as shares of all of the PSU banks collapsed with the stock of scam-hit PNB crashing nearly 13%. Among the Sensex scrips, shares of Bharti Airtel, Dr Reddy’s, Hero MotoCorp, NTPC, Reliance Industries and Power Grid topped the index while shares of ICICI Bank, HDFC, Axis Bank and State Bank of India contributed the most to Sensex declines. The S&P BSE Sensex lost 99.36 points or 0.29% to finish at 34,346.39 and NSE Nifty washed off 28.3 points or 0.27% to settle at 10,554.3.
US stock markets on Tuesday
US stocks suffered on Tuesday their biggest daily drops since the selloff three weeks ago after comments from Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell revived fears about more interest-rate increases than expected this year, Reuters said in a report. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 299.24 points, or 1.16 percent, to 25,410.03, the S&P 500 lost 35.32 points, or 1.27 percent, to 2,744.28 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 91.11 points, or 1.23 percent, to 7,330.35.
