In a shocking incident, a British resident and her female friend were shot at by alleged cattle mafia in Gurugram, Haryana, Times of India reports. The terrifying incident, where the two women were attacked, took place on Sohna Road on Monday. The report said that the assailants not only shot at, but also attempted push a live cow onto the women’s moving car from their vehicle. The women have lodged an FIR at the Sohna City police station in this matter. Sonia Sharma, a British resident, was going towards Mewat in her car along with her friend Archie Baranwal. Both of them spotted a pick-up truck (RJ 32 GA 2303) carrying cattle. The report said that animals were tied and stuffed badly into the small vehicle. What was more shocking that there were no rear tyres in the vehicle and yet it was speeding towards Mewat from Gurugram on just the rims.

Both the women were lucky as the shot missed. They, however, continued to follow the men. Meanwhile, they also informed the police about the incident over phone. As the accused saw the car chasing them, one of them pushed a live cow at the car. However, the women were again able to save themselves but the animal got injured as it was thrown out of a moving vehicle. By this point, the assailants probably realised that they may not be able to counter the bravehearts.

Also, considering their vehicle was running without tyres, the accused abandoned the vehicle and fled. The cops investigating matter have now recovered two animals pushed on the road and four other animals from inside the truck. The assault weapon has also been recovered.

So people preventing Cattle smuggling are called "Gau Rakshanks" but it is always the "fault" of Gau Rakshaks but not the Smugglers.. Most of the these smugglers are Muslims, last time these smugglers shot at public they were beaten up in Agra... but the people still got the blame smugglers did not because they were Muslim

Bhai , it's not cattle mafia but Mafia , Haryana is Indian sisily . Please don't take this definateion to heart , but we feel so unsafe in certain part of india and Haryana tops the list . This is a strange place and you recently saw the followers getting killed because their chief is being arrested and this case was on the envil for 15 years . That means the law and order is absolutely taken for a ride , if this continues then how can a state can develop it self ? Then they migrate to other states creating problems there . BJP I hope will go deeper to find out the root causes for this violence and would put this state back on track with flying colours .

Just shows how illiterate and dumb you are to give such a sick comment like this. "Sudhar Jaoo" agar Toodi se Akhal hai tho . I'm sure you believe in rebirth l hope and pray God sends you back as a cow and the same thing is done to you " IC FOOL". If you don't know the meaning of these words look up the Firang dictionary for it. E.d

Well, in our country we seem to have a problem with every thing. If cattle smugglers are stopped, it is reported as a case of overly vigilant "Gau Rakshaks" and makes it to the headlines. If the smugglers attack anyone trying to question them, that also becomes a headline.
