Senior BJP leader from Moradnagar Brijpal Tevatia has been attacked by unknown assailants who were armed with AK-47 type guns.
Mr. Tevatia who was traveling in his car along with his gunman and driver sustained serious injuries and had to be rushed to Fortis hospital as per reports by news agency ANI.

As per agency reports more than 100 rounds have been fired on the 49 year old BJP leader in which his driver and gunman also sustained serious injuries.

As per reports, Minister of State (MoS) and BJP leader Mahesh Sharma has left his residence to meet the injured leader.
SSP Ghaziabad has cordoned off the areas near Muradnagar.

Brijpal Tevatia had also fought assembly elections from Muradnagar in 2012.
