After being put in to bat by LSG skipper Rishabh Pant, PBKS openers Priyansh Arya and Cooper Connolly turned the game into a highlight reel, stitching together a destructive 184-run partnership.

Arya was the primary aggressor, smashing 93 off just 37 balls (including 9 sixes), while Connolly played a sublime knock of 87 off 46. Their onslaught eclipsed the previous season-high of 250/3 set by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) earlier this April. Despite a middle-order wobble, late hits from Shashank Singh (17 off 6) ensured PBKS set a record-breaking target.
