<b>CCTV footage show CISF men vandalising Kozhikode airport : </b>In a breach of security, a group of CISF personnel, apparently agitated over the death of a colleague in the violence at the Kozhikode airport here last night, went on the rampage and destroyed airport property. CCTV visuals of the violence unleashed were aired today by television channels, which showed a group of 10 to 15 CISF personnel, both in uniform and in plainclothes, smashing windows with stones and batons. They created mayhem after the news of the death of jawan Jaipal Yadav spread. In the unprecedented violence at the Kozhikode airport earlier, a CISF jawan was killed and three others were injured when a service revolver went off during a clash between CISF personnel and Fire force officers of AAI. <b>Mika Singh arrested, bailed out in doctor's assault case: </b>Popular Bollywood singer Mika Singh was today arrested for allegedly slapping a doctor at a concert, but was later released on bail. The 38-year-old Mika was first questioned at Inderpuri police station in south Delhi and arrested thereafter for assaulting Shrikant, a doctor on April 11. The incident had taken place at a concert Delhi. Police had registered a case of causing hurt and wrongful restraint against Mika, after a video of the alleged incident had gone viral on the social media. The victim had suffered some internal injury in the left ear due to the assault, police said. "While performing, Mika had called someone from the audience to the stage. <b>Opposition to Yoga anti-national act, says BJP: </b>BJP today said opposition to Yoga amounted to "anti-national" and "anti-social" acts and those who are creating an unnecessary controversy over the issue cannot be well wishers of the country. "Even Yoga has been accepted by United Nations and its opposition is outright unfair. If someone doesn't want to do Yoga, he should go to sleep at his house. <b>Azam Khan asks Yogi Adityanath to offer namaz for better mental health : </b>Reacting on the recent comments by Bharatiya janata Party (BJP) MP Yogi Adityanath on yoga, Uttar Pradesh minister Azam Khan today said the saffron leader should "offer namaz to set his mind on the right track". He said, "Although my advice to Yogi about namaz might not be correct but since he wants to use force to adopt any exercise, I am forced to express my opinion. He should rather offer namaz (prayers) that would not only give him physical strength but also put his mind on the right track.". The SP leader was referring to the firebrand leader's comments that those opposing 'Surya namaskar' should "drown in the sea". BJP asks Nitish Kumar: </b>The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today dubbed the coming together of JD(U) and RJD as an alliance of "defeated people" and asked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to reveal the "compromise" behind Janta Parivar merger turning into a coalition. "(Nitish) Kumar, Lalu (Prasad) and Mulayam Singh Yadav had been talking about merger, but it suddenly came down to alliance. There had been no consensus among them over the Chief Ministerial candidate and Lalu had publicly said it has not been decided," senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad told reporters here. "Kumar was suddenly chosen the CM candidate. Prasad clarified he has drunk poison to stop BJP. But the real thing is that his children are not yet ready for politics. He (Kumar) is silent since then. <b>Court prohibits release of under-production film 'Desh Bhakt Nathuram Godse': </b>A Pune court today prohibited release of an under-production film on Nathuram Godse, the assassin of Mahatma Gandhi, in response to a civil suit alleging that it may "incite people on communal lines". The order was passed by civil magistrate K M Pingle `ex-parte', as the defendants did not appear before the court despite notices issued to them. Hemant Patil, an activist, had filed the suit seeking ban on the film being produced by Akhil Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha. The film's working title is 'Desh Bhakt Nathuram Godse'. <b>Jitan Ram Manjhi announces poll tie-up with BJP: </b>The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today received a shot in the arm ahead of the high-stakes Bihar assembly elections, with former Chief Minister and mahadalit leader Jitan Ram Manjhi announcing a tie-up with it to defeat the "unholy" alliance of Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad. Making the announcement after a meeting with BJP President Amit Shah, Manjhi said a strong alliance is needed to defeat the 'Janata Parivar' in the upcoming assembly elections. "In Bihar, an unholy alliance between Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad has been formed…I spoke to Amit Shah in this context. <b>AAP dares govt to arrest Maharashtra minister Babanrao Lonikar on fake degree charge: </b>Accusing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of indulging in "double standards", the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today dared the party-led Maharashtra government to arrest state Minister Babanrao Lonikar accused of holding a fake degree and make him tour institutions from where he allegedly secured his educational certificates, as has been done in the case of Jitendra Tomar in Delhi. "I dare the state government to follow the same procedure as our minister (Jitendra Tomar) was put through. Will this (Devendra Fadnavis) government arrest him (Lonikar) and make him tour the colleges and universities from where he has received his degrees?" asked AAP's spokesperson Preeti Sharma Menon.
