To encourage greater gender equality and diversity in real estate, industry policies should promote inclusivity and equal opportunities. Efforts should focus on creating a supportive environment for women to thrive in the field. Technology will play a crucial role in addressing potential challenges in the real estate market. Augmented and virtual reality are revolutionizing the home-buying experience, making it more accessible and interactive. Smart home features, including automated lighting and security systems, enhance safety and convenience. Additionally, digital platforms facilitate digital house hunting, transforming traditional homes into smart homes. These technological advancements contribute to reshaping the industry by adapting to changing consumer preferences and streamlining processes.

Efforts should focus on creating a supportive environment for women to thrive in the field. Initiatives such as mentorship programs, networking events, and educational outreach can contribute to breaking down gender barriers. As the Founder President of CREDAI Rajasthan Women’s Wing, I have been involved in several such initiatives to promote diversity and inclusion in the Indian real estate industry.
