Bank of Baroda has revised its fixed deposit rates, effective from October 3, 2024, offering attractive options for both the general public and senior citizens.

The new rates apply to domestic term deposits, including NRO deposits below Rs 3 crores. For short-term deposits ranging from 7 to 14 days, residents will earn 4.25%, while senior citizens will receive 4.75%.

As the tenure increases, the rates also rise, with senior citizens benefiting from higher returns across various tenors. For example, deposits between 1 and 2 years now yield 7% for residents and 7.50% for senior citizens.

The revised rates include additional interest for senior citizens, with up to 0.50% extra for deposits up to 3 years and higher rates for longer tenors. This move aims to enhance savings opportunities for all customers, especially senior citizens, encouraging them to invest in fixed deposits.
