K-pop boy band BTS’ new album ‘Arirang’ marks their comeback after a four-year hiatus. Set to release on March 20, the new album ‘Arirang’ has reached record pre-orders with over 4 million pre-saved copies in a week. This has surpassed their previous record of 3.42 million set by ‘Map of the Soul,’ released in 2020. The seven-member boy band’s new album will contain 14 tracks and is currently leading on music streaming giant Spotify’s Global Countdown Chart.
One of the most-awaited developments from BTS, the boyband recently announced their world tour. As Indian fans had their expectations set high, they were left disappointed as BTS skipped out on the subcontinent entirely. However, as per a recent report, 2 new cities will welcome the BTS Arirang World Tour 2026.
BTS previously announced 79 stops across their 2026-27 world tour, but recently added 2 new shows to the lineup. A stop has been added on May 19 and April 28, in Tampa and Stanford, respectively. Announced on the official BTS account, BIGHIT MUSIC revealed, “Thanks to the support of ARMY, we are holding one additional show in each city: TAMPA & STANFORD, for the ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’. We look forward to ARMY’s love and support.”
BTS Arirang World Tour 2026: New dates
On April 28, the K-pop boy band will perform live at the Raymond James Stadium, extending their stay in Tampa. Furthermore, a second show is scheduled for May 19 at the Stanford Stadium, California, after April 16 and 17.
The new album from BTS, Arirang, marks their fifth regular album which went live on January 22. Sold out on all major platforms, the BTS Army showed up and how. Supporting their favourite K-pop members, the fans now await the full-length album, which will arrive in March 2026. The septet will commence their world tour in April 2026 from South Korea. They will tour 34 cities and have over 80 shows till 2027.
