Enterprise AI startup Aerchain, has raised $13 million (around Rs 118 crore) in new funding. The round was led by Pavestone VC, with help from IndiaMART and others.
The company plans to use the money to grow globally and improve its “Spend Operating System.” This platform aims to turn procurement departments – the teams that handle company spending – from slow, reactive offices into proactive parts of the business, according to the company’s official statement.
Even with modern technology, most procurement teams are still stuck doing manual work in spreadsheets and emails. Aerchain points out that these professionals spend about 80% of their time on boring, repetitive tasks. This leads to missed savings and frustrated leadership.
“The future of procurement is a system that thinks for you, acts on your behalf, and comes to you only when it needs a decision. This funding accelerates this transformation across enterprises at a much bigger scale,” Harsha Kadimisetty, CEO and Co-Founder of Aerchain, said.
“AI is the capability, but the real unlock is what it enables: procurement teams that spend their time on strategy instead of administration. The goal is outcome-driven procurement at enterprise scale,” Himavanth Jasti, CTO and Co-Founder, said.
V Laxmikanth, Managing Partner, Pavestone VC, stated, “At Pavestone, we back companies transforming core enterprise functions at scale. Aerchain is re-architecting procurement through an AI-first platform that delivers measurable efficiency and cost outcomes for global enterprises”.
