A year after the merger of LTIMindtree — L&T Infotech and Mindtree — churn at the top level continues. For instance, in just over a month, LTIMindtree appointed three new chief business officers (CBO) for three of its business units – retail and consumer goods, manufacturing, and life sciences and healthcare.

The development comes just days after the company’s chief marketing officer (CMO), Paresh Vankar, resigned within 10 months of joining. He had joined in January and quit the company in October.

According to analysts say, this shows that the company is still grappling with integration related issues. The company, though has been maintaining that it has ensured client satisfaction and flawless delivery even in the midst of a large merger and integration.

This week, the company appointed Aditi Banerjee as CBO – Life Sciences and Healthcare. She has over 25 years of experience and has worked in organisations including DXC Technology, Accenture, HCL Technologies and Infosys.

LTIMindtree also appointed Samir Gosavi as CBO – Retail & Consumer Goods last month, apart from elevating Rajesh Sundaram as CBO – Manufacturing business unit. Prior to joining LTIMindtree, Samir was global head of brand and communications at Zensar Technologies, and Rajesh was executive vice president – manufacturing, LTIMindtree.

Even other large IT companies are dealing with high level exits. In another development, HCLTech saw former chief human resources officer (CHRO) at HCLTech, Appa Rao V V leaving the company on November 22. Apparao quit from his post in just 13 months of his appointment. In a restructuring measure in October, 2022, the company had appointed Apparao as the chief delivery officer.

In November, Peeyush Dubey joined Tech Mahindra as its new chief marketing officer. Before this, Dubey was the CMO at both Mindtree and LTI until 2022. After that, he joined AI analytics solutions company TheMathCompany for just over a year. Dubey also worked for over a decade with Infosys as a global marketing head.

Similarly, Wipro saw another senior executive leaving. Santosh Joshi, program director and delivery head quit the IT major to join Citi as its senior vice president this month.
