Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group company, Reliance Communications has reported a 37% drop in its net profit to R157 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2011 against a profit of R250 crore in the corresponding quarter previous year. The company?s revenues also slid 4% to R4,849 crore in the June 2011 quarter as compared to R5,069 crore in the June 2010 quarter. Its ebitda for the quarter stood at R1,603 crore, with ebitda margin of 32.4%

GTL Infra June qtr net loss widens to R84 cr

Telecom tower company GTL Infrastructure on Saturday widened its net loss at R83.95 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2011, mainly on account of interest and finance charges.

The company had a net loss of R19.32 crore during the April-June quarter of 2010, GTL Infrastructure said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Nalco Q1 net up 32% at R377 crore

Navaratna PSU National Aluminium Company (Nalco) has registered an impressive 32% in its net profit to R377 crore in the first quarter ended June 30, 2011. The company had posted a net profit of R284 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Emami Q1 net up 17.73% at R41.50 cr

Kolkata-based FMCG company Emami on Saturday posted a 17.73% increase in its net profit to R41.50 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2011, over the same period last fiscal.
