Right before the dream final between India and Pakistan at Oval Stadium on Sunday, former skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni shared a picture with the current Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed’s son Abdullah. India who will play their second Champions Trophy final, will try to retain the title under new captain Virat Kohli. Dhoni has led the Indian team for over a decade and has won many laurels as a captain. On Sunday, he will be hoping to add another chapter to his already golden history.

The former skipper has not really got much a chance to showcase his talent with the bat but would be playing a crucial role in the final with his big gloves. The batsman-cum- wicketkeeper knocked 63 runs in the group stage against Sri Lankans. However, the Men in Blue lost to the Islanders by seven wickets.

The atmosphere on Sunday at Oval will be electrifying and emotions of the fans would be at an all time. The two sides have met thrice at the ICC Knockout  Stage so far out of which India has defeated Pakistan twice. The last time the two sides played in the sub-continent was a bilateral series in 2012.
