The Men’s Selection Committee has unveiled India’s squads for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka, comprising three T20Is and three ODIs, set to commence later this month.

In the T20I squad, Suryakumar Yadav will lead as captain with Shubman Gill serving as vice-captain. The team includes dynamic players like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rinku Singh, Riyan Parag, and experienced wicketkeepers Rishabh Pant and Sanju Samson. All-rounder Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, spinners Axar Patel and Washington Sundar, along with pace bowlers Ravi Bishnoi, Arshdeep Singh, Khaleel Ahmed, and Mohammed Siraj complete the squad.

For the ODI series, Rohit Sharma will captain the team, supported by vice-captain Shubman Gill. The squad features stalwarts like Virat Kohli, KL Rahul, and Shreyas Iyer, alongside wicketkeepers Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul. All-rounders Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, spinners Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel, and pace bowlers Arshdeep Singh, Khaleel Ahmed, and emerging talent Harshit Rana round off the lineup.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) emphasized ongoing monitoring of player availability and their participation in the forthcoming domestic cricket season 2024-25.

The tour itinerary includes three T20Is scheduled at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium from July 27 to July 31, followed by three ODIs in Colombo starting August 2. The matches promise to be intense showdowns as India aims to continue their successful international campaign under new leadership.
