Two-time Olympic medallist PV Sindhu, made a comeback after a four-month injury hiatus, and displayed her aggressive prowess. She dominated the first singles match, defeating Supanida Katethong convincingly with a score of 21-12, 21-12, securing India a 1-0 lead.
