Aaheli is an authentic Bengali cuisine restaurant of The Peerless Inn, Kolkata, offering dishes from all over Bengal with traditional Bengali ambience. The restaurant’s menu comprises of both the cuisine from the two parts of Bengal – the East and the West. Aaheli has also brought back the old lost “ Zamindari cuisine”, the cuisine of “Thakurbari”. The restaurant serves Thali as well as A la Carte. The Ala Carte menu features Aampora sarbot as a soothing drink to kakra bora, rui macher patisapta, postor bora, mochar chop as starters. Aaheli serves different kinds of rice like Basmati, gobindbhog, to variations such as pulao rajnandini, nawabi mangsho pulao.
