<b>Shiv Sena mocks BJP's Devendra Fadnavis comments </b> Taking a jibe at Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis over his statement that the split of saffron allies ahead of the Maharashtra Assembly elections brought out the true strength of the BJP, the Shiv Sena today said such comments are needed to boost the morale of party workers. "If he (Fadnavis) says that the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) split with the Shiv Sena strengthened his party, there is nothing wrong with it. One needs to make such comments to boost the morale of party workers. But what is more important is his comment that the BJP and Sena will fight the upcoming elections together," Sena's Rajya Sabha MP Anil Desai told reporters here. <b>Jammu-bound Muri Express derails: </b> Eight bogies of a Jammu-bound train derailed here in Uttar Pradesh today, reportedly killing one person and injuring six. The Muri Express, on way to Jammu Tawi, derailed between Sirathu and Atsarai railway stations and one of them overturned, Chief PRO North-Central railway Vijay Kumar said. <b>Militants open fire in Kashmir, 3 injured </b> Suspected militants today opened fire on a telecom outlet in Sopore town of north Kashmir's Baramulla district, injuring three civilians, police said. The militants opened firing at Iqbal Market in Sopore, 52 kms from here, which resulted in injuries to three persons, a police officer said. The injured were rushed to a local hospital, where doctors referred them to a hospital here for treatment, the officer said. He said it seemed to be an attack on telecom operators as militants had threatened them in the past. It was second such attack in less than 48 hours in Sopore area. <b>Woman shoots herself in head while taking selfie: </b> A 21-year-old Russian woman has been critically wounded after accidentally shooting herself in the head with a pistol while posing for a selfie. The woman found a 9mm handgun left behind by a security guard at her office in Moscow and decided take a selfie while posing with the firearm. Holding the gun close to her head, the young woman accidentally pulled the gun's trigger and shot herself through the temple. A spokesperson for the Moscow's Sklifosovsky hospital said the woman was in a "serious condition" after she was brought to the Moscow clinic on Thursday. <b>Kerala govt to challenge high court on ‘being Maoist not a crime’ ruling:</b> The Government of Kerala has said that it will approach a division bench of the state high court to withdraw the ruling of a single judge bench that has said that being a Maoist is not a crime. On Friday, a single bench of the Kerala High Court had criticized the state police for arresting a person for being a Maoist. The court had then ordered the police to pay compensation to the individual for harassing him. According to reports, Kerala’s Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala said the state government would appeal against the verdict on grounds that it would be difficult to enforce the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act under the circumstances.
