PM Kisan Scheme 18th Instalment: You will receive Rs 2,000 in your bank account on THIS date

PM-Kisan Scheme: The wait of crores of farmers of the country is finally over. The Modi government has announced the date of the 18th instalment of PM Kisan Yojana. According to the official website of PM Kisan, the amount of the 18th installment will be transferred to the accounts of farmers on October 5, 2024.

If you have registered to avail the benefits of PM Kisan Yojana, then you should get e-KYC done as soon as possible. According to the rules of the scheme, benefits will be given only to those farmers whose e-KYC and land verification is complete. Without e-KYC, farmers will not get the installment amount.

About PM Kisan Samman Nidhi yojana:

Every year an amount of Rs 6,000 is given in three installments in PM Kisan Yojana, a central sector scheme launched in February 2019 by the Prime Minister to supplement the financial needs of land-holding farmers. Each installment consists of Rs 2,000. The 17th installment was released in June this year. Under the PM-KISAN scheme, the installments get transferred into the bank accounts of farmers’ families across the country through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode. The PM-KISAN scheme is one of the largest DBT schemes of the World.

A farmer-centric digital infrastructure has ensured the benefits of the scheme reach all the farmers across the country without any involvement of the intermediaries, according to the government.

Maintaining absolute transparency in registering and verifying beneficiaries, the Government of India has so far disbursed over Rs 3.24 lakh crore to more than 11 crore farmers in 17 installments. Rs 6,000 as a financial assistance is provided to the farmers with the intent to help them to meet their agriculture needs such as seeds, fertilizers, agriculture equipment etc.

PM-Kisan scheme eligibility:

Under this scheme, landholder farmer families, who have cultivable land in their name, are eligible. Small and marginal farmers with land up to 2 hectares can avail the benefits of this scheme.

How to do e-KYC for PM-Kisan?

Go to the official website of PM Kisan.

Select “Farmers Corner”.

Click on “e-KYC”.

Enter your Aadhaar number and select “Get OTP”.

Enter the OTP received on the registered mobile number and submit.
