LTIMindtree
LTIMindtree reported lower-than-expected revenue and net profit for the March quarter, as clients continued to tighten spending on large-scale IT projects due to escalating geopolitical tensions and macroeconomic uncertainties. The Mumbai-based company, however, reported a sequential growth in both topline and bottomline. The revenue rose 1.1% sequentially to Rs 9,771.7 crore in January-March, but fell short of the analysts’ estimation of Rs 9,868 crore as pegged by Bloomberg.
Gensol Engineering
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) said on Wednesday that it is examining the financial statements and the statutory auditor reports of Gensol Engineering and its affiliate BluSmart Mobility for FY24. In a meeting, the Financial Reporting Review Board (FRRB) of the ICAI took a decision to suo moto investigate Gensol and BluSmart Mobility for alleged financial irregularities.
Gensol Engineering has denied receiving any notice or communication from the Enforcement Directorate (ED) amid reports linking its promoters to the ongoing investigation in the Mahadev Book app case. In an exchange filing on April 23, Gensol Engineering said, “the Company/ any of its KMPs or directors including Mr. Anmol Singh Jaggi and Mr. Puneet Singh Jaggi, has not received any communication or notice from ED with respect to appearance regarding Mahadev book app case pursuant to fresh probe done by ED on 16.04.2025.”
Tata Consumer Products
Tata Consumer Products reported a net profit of Rs 344.85 crore in Q4FY25, a growth of 59.19% in comparison to Rs 216.63 crore recorded during the corresponding quarter of FY24, surpassing street estimates. It posted revenue from operations at Rs 4608.22 crore, up 17.35% as against Rs 3926.94 crore reported during the fourth quarter of the previous financial year. The company’s EBIT stood at Rs 620.8 crore.
NPCIL
The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has placed a Rs 12,800 crore EPC contract with Hyderabad-based Megha Engineering and Infrastructure Ltd (MEIL) to construct two 700 MWe nuclear reactors—Kaiga Units 5 and 6—in Karnataka. This is the biggest ever order placed by NPCIL, while it marks MEIL’s first major step into the nuclear energy sector.
Bajaj Housing Finance
Bajaj Housing Finance posted a 54% year-on-year rise in net profit for Q4 FY25, coming in at Rs 587 crore, compared with Rs 381 crore in the same quarter last year. The company saw a 31% increase in net interest income, which rose to Rs 823 crore in Q4 FY25. It reported a net profit of Rs 2,163 crore for the full year FY25, up 25% from Rs 1,731 crore in FY24. Its net interest income for FY25 grew by 20% to Rs 3,007 crore.
Syngene International
Syngene International reported a net profit of Rs 183.3 crore in Q4FY25, up 2.8% YoY. Its revenue for the quarter stood at Rs 1,018 crore, an 11% increase from Rs 916.9 crore in the same period last year. The company’s EBITDA margins stood at 33.8%, lower than 34.4% in the year-ago quarter but higher than the 33% projected.
BPCL
Bharat Petroleum Corporation entered into a joint venture agreement with GPS Renewables Pvt. Ltd. to set up Compressed Biogas (CBG) plants across the country. This joint venture is aimed at deploying advanced waste-to-energy technologies to convert organic biomass waste into CBG—an eco-friendly and renewable energy source.
Can Fin Homes
Can Fin Homes posted a net profit of Rs 234 crore for Q4FY5, an increase of 11.9% YoY, as against Rs 209 crore and a 10% sequential rise over Q3FY25. The Board also recommended a final dividend of Rs 6 per equity share against a face value of Rs 2 per share, in addition to the earlier declared interim dividend of Rs 6, taking the total FY25 dividend to Rs 12 per share.
