HCL Technologies
HCL Technologies will be releasing its quarterly results for Q2 FY26 today, October 13. The company is likely to report a sequential rise in revenue and net profit, supported by deal ramp-ups and lower restructuring costs. HCL Technologies’ revenue is expected to increase by 3.81% quarter-on-quarter to Rs 31,506.35 crore.
Adani Enterprises
The Supreme Court recently issued notices to the managing director of Adani Enterprises, Rajesh Adani and others, following a petition filed by the customs department that challenged a recent order by the service tax tribunal, which quashed the department’s show cause notice and related proceedings against the company. “Rajesh Adani, Managing Director of M/s AEL and Samir Vora, Vice-President of M/s AEL, by their acts of omission and commission, indulged in fraudulent and manipulative practice and involved themselves in misdeclaration of export value…” the customs department said.
Muthoot Finance
Muthoot Finance dismissed allegations of money laundering and investor fraud against its Managing Director, George Alexander Muthoot, as “false, baseless and misleading. The company clarified that its MD had been called by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to provide clarifications and factual information regarding the company’s role in facilitating non-convertible debentures (NCDs) issued by Srei group companies, it said in an exchange filing.
Reliance Power
Reliance Power said in an exchange filing that Ashok Kumar Pal has stepped down from his position as Executive Director and CFO with immediate effect. A formal letter will follow, and the requisite disclosure will be made, RPower further said. On October 10, Reliance Power’s Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer, Ashok Kumar Pal, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate.
Avenue Supermarts
Avenue Supermarts, which operates the retail chain DMart, reported a nearly 4% year-on-year rise in consolidated net profit to Rs 685 crore for Q2 FY26, while revenue grew 15.5% YoY to Rs 16,676 crore. While Q2 like-for-like growth (same-store sales growth/SSSG) of 6.8% was higher than the 5.5% recorded in the same quarter last year, sequentially the retailer’s SSG declined by 30 basis points from 7.1% in the June quarter. One basis point is equal to one-hundredth of a percentage point.
BPCL
Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) has formed a strategic alliance with Reliance BP Mobility (RBML) to enhance city gas distribution and compressed natural gas (CNG) sales. “It is crucial that the end customer receives our molecule, aligning with the broader vision of promoting a gas-based economy. This partnership will enhance our progress towards this national objective.” Rahul Tandon, Business Head – Gas, BPCL, stated.
Sona BLW Precision Forgings
Sona BLW Precision Forgings (Sona Comstar) has partnered with Germany-based NEURA Robotics GmbH to co-develop and industrialise advanced robotics and humanoid technologies. The collaboration positions the homegrown auto components maker at the forefront of the emerging humanoid robotics sector, which Bank of America estimates could see annual sales of 10 million units by 2035.
Signature Global
Signature Global (India) reported a decline in pre-sales and area sold for the September quarter (Q2 FY26), even as collections remained stable. Pre-sales stood at Rs 201 crore, down 28% year-on-year and 24% sequentially, while the area sold fell 44% YoY and 17% QoQ to 1.34 million sq. ft. However, collections were up 2% YoY and 1% QoQ at Rs 940 crore.
Advait Energy Transitions
Advait Energy Transitions (formerly Advait Infratech Ltd) said its subsidiary Advait Greenergy has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat in Mehsana, Gujarat, as part of the Investment Promotion Activity for the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference. As per the disclosure, the MoU aims to promote investments in Gujarat, with Advait Greenergy proposing to establish two projects aggregating to Rs 1,450 crore in the state.
Bajaj Finserv
Bajaj Finserv announced its September update for its life insurance business. In an exchange filing, Bajaj Life Insurance’s total premium for September stood at Rs 1,374.6 crore. In addition, the general insurance September gross direct premium underwritten stood at Rs 2,218.8 crore. This marks a month-on-month decline, as, in August, the company’s total Premium in the life insurance department stood at Rs 1,484.8 crore. In addition, the gross direct premium underwritten stood at Rs 2,063 crore.
Waaree Renewable Tech
Waaree Renewable Technologies posted its highest-ever quarterly profit and revenue for the September quarter, as strong project execution and expanding margins boosted performance. The company’s net profit jumped 117% YoY to Rs 116.3 crore, while revenue rose 47.7% to Rs 774.8 crore. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) more than doubled to Rs 157.9 crore from Rs 71.6 crore a year earlier, with margins improving to 20.4% from 13.6%.
