All students from the 2025 MBA class at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) have received job offers during the summer placement process. This is unlike the fiasco at IIM Bangalore where quite a few students found it hard to land offers.

As many as 124 companies from multiple sectors virtually participated across the three clusters in the summer placements, according to the institute.

Of the total 406 students, 187 got job offers in the first cluster, 117 in the second and 98 in the third cluster. Apart from these, some others were selected for internships.

Companies from the consulting and finance sector recruited a majority of the aspirants. As many as 142 students (around 35% of the batch strength) were recruited by firms in the sector, while 78 (18%) were recruited in finance.

Boston Consulting Group recruited 22 students to become the top recruiter in the management consulting cohort, while Accenture made the highest number of offers at 19 in the niche consulting sector.

With nine offers, Goldman Sachs became the highest recruiter in investment banking and markets, while Hindustan Unilever topped the consumer goods and durables cohort with the same number of offers. Mahindra offered the highest 11 offers in the conglomerate cohort, followed by Adani which recruited 10 candidates.

Two students opted out of the placement process and decided to work on their own venture under the IIMAvericks Fellowship. The fellowship includes mentorship from the institute’s Centre for Innovation Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE.CO) and financial support for a period of two years.
