MP Election 2023: The BJP on Tuesday released the fourth list of the candidates for upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly election. The list, which has the names of current CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and state home minister Narottam Mishra, has total 57 candidates. There are two interesting factors that make this list very important – first, all the candidates in BJP’s fourth list are MLAs in the current Assembly; second, the list has seven lawmakers that are known as loyalist of Jyotiraditya Scindia, the current aviation minister in BJP government at the Centre.

The fact that the men from Scindia camp have got the tickets show the stance of BJP’s central leadership. This comes even as many leaders from Scindia camp have left the BJP and joined the Congress again in last two-three months.

Who are the leaders from Scindia camp?

The ministers who have got tickets, who are known to be loyalist to Scindia are revenue minister Govind Singh Rajput (Surkhi, Sagar district), water resources minister Tulsi Silavat (Sanwer, Indore district); energy minister Pradyuman Singh Tomar (Gwalior), food minister Bisahulal Singh (Anuppur, district of same name), environment minister Hardeep Singh Dang (Suwasra, Mansaur district), public health and family welfare minister Prabhuram Chaudhary (Sanchi, Raisen district), industrial policy and investment promotion minister Rajvardhan Singh Dattigoan (Badnawar, Dhar district).
