Suzlon Group has secured its FY26 largest order of 838 MW with Tata Power Renewable Energy. This is also Suzlon’s second-largest energy deal ever after the 1,544 MW deal with NTPC Green Energy.

In a regulatory filing on Tuesday, the company highlighted that the project is part of India’s growing push for Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE), which ensures round-the-clock, grid-stable clean power and falls under FDRE bids awarded to SJVN and NTPC.

Suzlon to install 266 advanced S144 turbines across three states

The 838 MW project will deploy 266 units of Suzlon’s S144 wind turbines, each with a rated capacity of 3.15 MW. The turbines will be installed across three states—302 MW in Karnataka, 271 MW in Maharashtra, and 265 MW in Tamil Nadu.

Suzlon, a renewable energy solutions company, has installed over 21 GW of wind capacity across 17 countries. In India, it has an installed base of 15.2 GW and another 6 GW outside the country.
