Ram Bandhu, a food products brand, partnered with Robin Hood Army, a volunteer-based organisation, to launch a campaign titled – ‘Ek Vichaar’. According to the company, this campaign aims to spread awareness amongst the people regarding the prevention of food wastage. From what is understood, the company has released a short film as a part of this campaign.

“Being one of the leading food FMCG brands we felt that it is our duty to bring to prominence the issue of food wastage prevalent in our society and suggest practical solutions which can make a difference. Hence we came up with this short film,” Bhanudas Gundkar, marketing head, Empire Spices & Foods Ltd., said. 

The short film depicts the story of a typical Indian household with young children waste food unintentionally. The film concludes by showcasing the message of the campaign. The film is a digital-only release and stars Chinmay Udgirkar, an actor. It has been produced by Amaze Productions and conceptualised by DigiChefs.
