From watching a favourite web series to planning a vacation, weekends are designated as family and me time. Manish Aggarwal, founder and CEO, FINQY, talks to BrandWagon Online about his weekends, favourite vacation destination and more.
What is the one thing you like to do when not working?
When I’m not working, I love immersing myself in sports and music. Whether it’s cheering for my favorite team or unwinding with a great playlist, it helps me recharge and stay balanced.
How do you spend your weekends?
Weekends are all about family for me. I cherish spending quality time with my loved ones, whether it’s enjoying a relaxed day at home or exploring new places together. It’s my way of resetting for the week ahead.
What are your favorite gadgets?
I’m a big fan of my large-screen TV for streaming content—it makes every viewing experience cinematic. My phone, though, is the ultimate all-rounder. From staying connected to indulging in entertainment, it’s my all-time constant companion.
Given an option to choose another career, what would it be?
If I had to pick another path, I’d be a professional musician—specifically, a drummer. The rhythm and energy of music have always fascinated me, and being on stage would be an incredible experience.
Which is your favorite vacation spot?
When it comes to vacations, I’m all about exploring and experiencing new cultures. Domestically, Goa with its vibrant atmosphere and beautiful beaches is my top pick. Internationally, Europe with its diverse cultures, rich history, and scenic beauty is a place that always leaves me in awe.
A TV show, a movie, and an ad campaign you highly recommend watching
While I don’t get much time for movies or shows, I have a deep appreciation for TV commercials, especially those with a strong emotional or human connection. They can be incredibly impactful in a short span and leave lasting impressions.
