Absolute Sports, a subsidiary of Nazara Technologies and the parent company of Sportskeeda.com, ProFootballNetwork.com, and SoapCentral.com, has announced an agreement to acquire DeltiasGaming.com, a prominent source of gaming and esports content in the US. Reportedly, the all-cash transaction, valued at $900K (Rs 7.5 crore), will be completed over one or more tranches, with closing expected within the next 45 days.
DeltiasGaming.com reported revenues of $575K (Rs 4.8 crore) for the twelve-month period ending June 2024. Absolute Sports plans to fund the acquisition through its cash reserves.
This move is part of Absolute Sports’ strategy to enhance its presence in the gaming and esports media sector in the US. The acquisition will provide Absolute Sports with access to DeltiasGaming.com’s loyal audience of nearly 1.5 million monthly readers, as well as its established brand and extensive reach on YouTube and Twitch.
