Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has registered a 15.2% jump in the net profit to R137.83 crore in the quarter ended March against R119.59 crore in the same period last fiscal.

Total income for the quarter rose to R1,507.61 crore, from R1,468.45 crore in the same period last fiscal. In the full fiscal, the net profit grew 8% to R464.28 crore against R429.60 crore in the previous fiscal. Total income of the bank for the full year soared to R5,976.71 crore against R5,680.41 crore a year ago. The board of directors has recommended a dividend of R13 per equity share of R10 each for the year FY15, said a bank filing in the stock exchanges.
