The new 2018 Swift is more aerodynamic and gets a wider stance. The new design draws from euro-hatches with its wraparound windshield and flowy lines. We drove the 2018 Swift ahead of the launch, to know more about design language on the new Swift.
The new Swift benefits from a new infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility. With revised NVH levels, the 2018 Swift will also boast of a rear parking camera and revised Air Conditioning performance.In terms of safety, the 2018 all-new Swift gets ABS, EBD and ISOFIX mounts as standard.
2018 Swift Engine and Performance
Maruti says the 2018 Swift will be available with a 1.2-litre petrol motor which makes 113 Nm of torque and 81 hp, while the 1.3-litre diesel motor which makes 190 Nm of torque and 75hp.
2018 Swift Average Fuel Mileage
Maruti Suzuki says the Swift diesel can deliver as much as 28.4kmpl, while the 1.2 l delivers 22 kmpl almost 8% more than the previous generation.
