Toonz Animation India, rated among Asia’s premier animation studios, has got into the GTS-2008 (Global Tech Showcase) shortlist. GTS is held in conjunction with the World Investment Conference in La Brule, France from June 4 to June 6, 2008.

Hosted by EuroStart Capital Partners LLC, a San Francisco-based venture fund, the GTS 2008 offers the opportunity for the most promising companies from around the world to launch and accelerate their business in Europe. The fete at World Investment Conference is envisaged to feature corporate and political leaders from firms such as Sony, Freescale, EDF, Nokia, BT, Total, Siemens, as well as government officials and ministers from around Europe.

It was after review of over 700 companies that GTS-2008 selection committee picked up Toonz. The selectors include senior executives from European business groups like Siemens, T-mobile, British Telecom, SAP, ST Microelectronics, Burda and Bouygues Telecom.
