Ram Temple issue: Here are all who oppose SC’s ‘outside the court’ settlement suggestion

BJP and affiliated groups have welcomed the decision. However, a few groups are of the view that matter can only be sorted inside the court.

The Supreme Court on Tuesday suggested an outside the court settlement to the parties involved in Ayodhya’s Ram Temple-Babri Masjid dispute. The court sought an urgent hearing in Ram Mandir dispute and scheduled the hearing for next week. The court has offered to play a mediator to sort out the controversy after suggesting the contesting groups to try for an amicable solution by talks. As per the direction, if the parties will reach a consensus, then SC will intervene and appoint a mediator for resolution. B BJP and affiliated groups have welcomed the decision. However, a few groups are of the view that matter can only be sorted inside the court. Zafaryab Jilani, Sitaram Yechury, and Asaduddin Owaisi are some of the noted people who have opposed the decision. Here are all who have opposed the decision:

Zafaryab Jilani, Convenor, Babri Masjid Action Committee

“Negotiations have failed earlier, an out of court settlement is not possible,” Zafaryab Jilani,  Convenor, Babri Masjid Action Committee said while giving his reaction on the issue.

Sitaram Yechury, CPI(M)

Baatcheet se masla nahi suljha tabhi to matter court mein gaya tha (Talks couldn’t sort-out the matter that’s why it reached court),” senior CPI(M) leader Sitaram Yechury said.

Asaduddin Owaisi, chief, AIMIM

“Supreme Court should start daily hearings of this matter and we will get a judgement,” said AIMIM chied Asaduddin Owaisi.

Uma Bharti, Union Minister

“It’s a welcome step by the Supreme Court, the matter I believe can be resolved out of court,” union minister Uma Bharti said.

Dattatreya Hosabale, RSS

“A grand Ram temple should be erected with the total involvement of all Indians,” senior RSS leader Dattatreya Hosabale said.

PP Chaudhary, Union Minister

PP Chaudhary, who is Minister of State for Ministry of Law and Justice said that BJP has always tried resolve issues and it will try its best to sort out the matter.
