US military Joint Base Andrews that services Air Force One, near Washington DC has been put on a lockdown after news of an ‘active shooter’surfaced. The news came around 9 on Thursday morning. Giving a nod to the rumors, the base authorities confirmed it through twitter and asked personnels to be safe.
The Andrews airbase was supposed to have an active shooter exercise soon but before that the real-world shooter situation occurred.
JBA is currently on lockdown due to a report of an active shooter. All personnel are directed to shelter in place. More info as it comes.

Joint Base Andrews is located around 20 miles outside of downtown Washington, D.C. and hosts aircraft used by American President Barrack Obama. While more updates are still awaited,the base is ensuring the safety of all.
