Switzerland’s Roger Federer on Friday defeated Damir Dzumhur 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 to advance to the fourth round of the French Open at Court Philippe Chatrier in Paris.
The Swiss, who is through to the fourth round at Roland Garros for the 11th time, will either play France’s Gael Monfils or Uruguay’s Pablo Cuevas for a place in the quarter-finals in Paris, the BBC reported.
Federer last lifted the French Open trophy in 2009, when he beat Robin Soderling in the final.
