And the company may be looking to expand beyond its self-imposed handset restrictions too before that as is clear from the fact that it extended its free 4G Jio SIM offer to include all 4G capable Samsung and LG smartphones. But more than that, while no official statements have come, Twitter is afire with reports that say Reliance Jio SIMs are freely purchasable by any 4G smartphone owner and not just Samsung, LG or Lyf smartphones owners. The folks on Twitter have even posted a screenshot of a table of an offer that is applicable to everyone with a 4G handset.

They will then need to approach a Reliance Digital or Digital Xpress Mini store with all the requisite ID proofs so as to buy the Jio 4G SIM. Thereafter, buyers can insert the SIM into their phone and log onto MyJio app. Click on ‘Avail Offer’ and submit. Post online verification, call 1977 and a Jio Preview offer will be given against your number.
